What age should my child start voice lessons?
We recommend starting around age 4, but some students can begin earlier or later depending on attention span and lung development. We also welcome teens and adults of all levels. Students younger than 4 should first receive a consultation to assess their attention span.
How long is each voice lesson?
We offer 30-minute weekly lessons, as well as 45 or 60 minutes for more in-depth instruction, MTAC preparation, and older students.
Do you teach beginners?
Absolutely! We specialize in teaching beginners and make sure every new student builds a strong foundation in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Can adults take voice lessons too?
Yes! Adult learners are always welcome at Busy Bees Music School. Whether you're picking up singing for the first time or returning after years, we tailor the lessons to your goals and pace. We have many adult students!
What kind of instruments should I have at home?
You will just need a computer to rehearse warm ups! A piano is always helpful (an 88-key keyboard will be sufficient), but not required.
How much do voice lessons cost?
Lesson rates vary based on length of the lesson, but our private voice lesson program with our award-winning music teachers is $160/month. Our teachers go through a rigorous vetting process, including educational and background checks, and are the crop of the top here in Westminster and Orange County. For each teacher we hire, we receive over 45 applications.

We teach classical, jazz, pop, folk, contemporary, rock-n-roll, metal, and more. Lessons are personalized to each student’s musical preferences.
