Frequently Asked Questions About Art Lessons
What age should my child start art classes?
We welcome young artists starting as early as age 4. Some children may be ready earlier or later depending on their motor skills and attention span. We also offer classes for teens and adults—there’s no age limit to creativity!
How long is each art class?
Most group art classes run 60 minutes once a week. Some advanced workshops and seasonal camps may be longer depending on the activity or theme.
Do you teach beginners?
Yes! Most of our students are beginners when they start. Our experienced art instructors know how to guide every student step by step and create a warm, encouraging environment.
Can adults take art lessons too?
At this time, we do not offer group art classes for adults, however, we do offer private art lessons.
What kind of art supplies do I need to bring?
All materials are included for our group art classes as part of your initial art kit ($59). This includes a portfolio, set of markers, crayons, a full set of oil pastels, a folder, case, and more!
How much do art lessons cost?
Our group art class tuition is affordably priced at $100/month for weekly 1-hour sessions. No extra fees for showcases or studio access!
What types of art do you teach?
Our rotating curriculum covers a wide range of styles and mediums including drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, crafts, and seasonal/holiday art projects. Students are encouraged to explore and find their artistic voice.
Do students get to display their artwork?
Yes! We host regular art showcases and gallery-style events throughout the year so students can proudly present their work to family and friends.
Can I switch class times or levels later?
Of course! We want your child (or you!) to feel comfortable and inspired. If your schedule or needs change, we’ll do our best to place you in the best-fitting class.

2025 - 2026 Art Class Schedule at Busy Bees
All Art Classes at our art school are 1hr 15min in length and will cover a new project weekly while building on the student's skillset in drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media, charcoal, watercolor, and oil pastels. Private art lessons are also available.
