Our K-Pop dance classes are designed for kids ages 6 – 18. We break down groups by age and experience level to make sure every student feels comfortable and challenged at the right pace. Younger children are introduced to simple rhythms and movements, while older kids get the opportunity to learn more detailed choreography inspired by their favorite K-Pop songs.

Not at all! These classes are open to complete beginners as well as kids who may already have some background in dance. Our instructors take time to teach the fundamentals of rhythm, movement, and choreography in a fun and easy-to-follow way. Students who are brand-new to dance will feel supported, while more experienced kids will be encouraged to grow their skills and develop their performance style.

We recommend comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for full movement. Leggings, shorts, and t-shirts work well. For footwear, sneakers with flexible soles or dance shoes are ideal so kids can move safely and easily. If your child wants to embrace the K-Pop style, they are also welcome to wear fun, trendy outfits that make them feel confident and ready to perform!

Yes! We believe performance is an important part of dance education. Throughout the year, students will have the chance to participate in our schoolwide recitals and themed showcases. These events give kids the exciting opportunity to perform on stage in front of family and friends, showing off the routines they’ve worked so hard to learn. Performances also help build confidence, teamwork, and stage presence, skills that last a lifetime.

Our K-Pop classes focus on choreography directly inspired by popular K-Pop artists and music videos. Students will learn a mix of dance styles often seen in K-Pop, including hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary movements. Classes are designed to give kids the same energy and excitement they see in their favorite groups, while also teaching proper dance technique and musicality.

Each class typically runs for 60-75 minutes, depending on the age group. Classes are offered once a week, with multiple scheduling options so families can find a time that works best for them. Many families choose to pair K-Pop dance classes with one of our other programs (music or art), and we make it easy to fit everything into your schedule at our Westminster campus.

We encourage parents to sit in and observe the very first class, so you can get a sense of how the program works and how your child is adjusting. After that, we’ve found that kids learn best when they are focused on their teacher and peers without distraction, so we ask parents to wait outside the studio. Of course, families are always invited to enjoy the fun during our recitals and showcases, where students get to perform their routines on stage.

We recommend enrolling early, as our K-Pop dance classes are very popular and often fill up quickly and go on waitlist.
